On June 03-04, 2014 Skoltech Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation hosted the 4th Skoltech Innovation Program Conference. During the first day the conference was organized as a part of the Startup Village agenda – the biggest Russian startup conference that gathered over 3500 participants. At the conference SIP research teams presented their innovative projects, which were previously approved through a competitive selection process in the Fall of 2013. While each project is unique in its focus, they share the general mission of using proven scientific findings to create practical real-world applications. On June 04 with support of Moscow Innovation Development Centre the conference took place in API Moscow, where SIP participants received consultations from their so-called catalysts – recognized experts in the field of technology commercializationwho help the teams reduce the barrier “laboratory result – a commercial product.”
