This project is devoted to development of technology for production of fiber reinforced thermoplastic pre-impregnated materials. Composites with thermoplastic matrices offer increased fracture toughness, higher damage tolerance, short processing cycle times and excellent environmental stability. Material selection, design and production of special tooling for production of thermoplastic composite tapes, technological experiments, mechanical testing of the produced composite materials based on thermoplastic composite tapes will be developed.
